How to change the theme:
On a desktop or laptop, you can switch between dark and light modes by using the toggle at the top of the page.
On an iPhone or iPad app, go to Account Management (the person icon on the lower right corner) to disable Dark Mode.
On the Android app, go to the navigation menu on the left, then to Settings and Theme. You can set to light or dark mode.

What is Epoch Cinema?
Epoch Cinema is part of EpochTV. We provide classic movie titles, contemporary releases, original award-winning documentaries, a discount on in-theater rentals2, plus a selection of complimentary free films.
Do I need a subscription to view Epoch Cinema?
You do not need a subscription to view Epoch Cinema.
Customers can rent titles from the Epoch Cinema catalog, without needing an EpochTV subscription. Titles available for rental have a small $ icon (
) on the top right hand corner of the video thumbnail. Please find these titles in New Release Rentals at the Epoch Cinema page. We also have an ongoing selection of free films.
EpochTV subscribers receive a discounted rental fee on selected titles and also have access to free films.
What can I view on Epoch Cinema?
- Original cutting-edge documentaries, i.e. “Tracking Down the Origin of Wuhan Coronavirus”
- Drama
- Romance
- Comedy
- Weekly TV series
I have an EpochTV or Epoch Times subscription. Do I need to pay a fee for Epoch Cinema titles?
EpochTV subscribers or subscribers who have complimentary access to EpochTV3 receive a discounted fee on rental titles and also have access to free films.
How do I rent Epoch Cinema titles?
Browse the catalog at Epoch Cinema or use the search feature to find a specific title.
Content that requires an additional purchase is marked with a $ icon () at the top right corner of the video thumbnail. Some titles are not available in certain areas due to licensing restrictions.
On the title's product page, you are shown available purchase options.
If you don’t have an account yet, please create a free account to rent a title. If you already have a free account with EpochTV or Epoch Times, log into your free account.
If you have an EpochTV subscription or complimentary access through other subscription plans3, log into your account with the email associated with your paid subscription to rent a title.
Your purchased rental from Epoch Cinema will be available to view in My List on the top menu bar.
A rented title is only available for viewing for 30 days. Once you press play on a rented title, you have a maximum of 7 days to view it.
How do I cancel the purchase of a rental title?
Within the 30-day rental period, unplayed videos can be refunded by canceling the purchase. Once you start to play the movie, refunds are not available.

Why Can’t I watch some titles on Epoch Cinema?
EpochTV is working with different partners and distribution companies to stream a variety of titles to subscribers. However, due to the specific agreement with each company, some titles may only be available in certain regions, such as North America. We are working on acquiring more titles that can be streamed worldwide without any restriction.
If a title is locked and only playable in a certain region, it will be clearly stated in the description below the video.
